Reedley Lions Club Blossom Trail Bike Ride, Saturday, March 6th. Fragrant pink and white fruit tree blossoms will lend a spectacular backdrop to the 20th Annual Kings River Blossom Bike Ride. The Four different rides are offered with four different levels of challenge. All four rides start and finish at Reedley’s Cricket Hollow Park on the Kings River at Olsen Ave Bridge. Lunch is included with the registration fee, as well as SAG assistance and fully catered rest stops. For more info, call 859-4879.
Reedley Rotary Gala Auction and Buffet, Saturday, March 13th, from 5 p.m., Annual auction and buffet, with both live and silent auctions to benefit community projects and local scholarships through Reedley Rotary Club. Event on March 13th, starting at 5 pm. Held at the Reedley Community Center, 100 N. East Ave. Reedley.
Street Faire, May 1st, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Downtown Reedley, G Street between 9th and 11th With food, entertainment, crafts, kiddie rides and the best car show around, the Reedley Street Faire has something for everyone, young and old. Reedley Downtown Association’s Certified Farmers Market, every Wednesday May through August, 4:00p to 7:00p, Downtown Reedley, G Street and 11th. Come one and all who love fresh fruit and vegetables! If you are a certified farmer, show up on G Street and 11th at 3:00 to set up. The market manager will assign a place for you to set out your spread. If you are a shopper, come ready to save on fantastic fruits and vegetables. Only the best will do! The market runs every Wednesday through the summer and well into September. WIC is accepted. July 4th Fireworks Spectacular, Reedley High School, 1148 W. North Ave., preshow at 5:30 pm, program at 7:00 pm with fireworks at dark. It’s the best fireworks show in the Valley with childrens activities, food and craft booths, and live performances. For more info, call 638-3548.
Cruising for Jesus 14th Annual Car Show, August 15 .F. Mueller Park in Reedley, California. Over 100 cars from classic to modern are entered in this spectacular car show, including bicycles. Plaques are provided by the Rotary Club of Reedley. Every year the car show grows, many times with over 2,000 attending. For more info, call 559 352-8700.
Reedley Downtown Association’s Taste of the Town, September 16 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. 11th & G Streets in downtown Reedley. Reedley Fiesta & Rotary Parade, October 9 and 10. Come out Friday evening for wonderful food and music. Saturday kicks off at 10:00 a.m. with the annual Rotary Parade featuring RHS Big Green Machine Marching Band. Come early so the kids have a good view! The rest of the day is one fun family event. Reedley’s Electrical Farm Equipment Parade, December 2, Thursday, from 7 p.m. The downtown Christmas tree is lit! Experience the chill in the air as an amazing light show honoring our local agricultural heritage parades through the heart of Reedley. Children and parents line both sides of the street in downtown Reedley to watch over 50 tractors, buses, combines and many antique vehicles all lit up with Christmas lights.
